Not far from my sister's house, the Public Works Center was hosting a truck week. They cleaned all different types of trucks from snowplows to dumptrucks as well as diggers and fork lifts. They allowed kids to climb all around inside the trucks and press buttons (including the horn). We went with my parents and nieces. Emma (who is 4) loved it and sat in every one. Molly (who is 6 months older than Hayden) was a little timid at first but warmed up. Then, Hayden, was turned off from the start when he approached a truck and a child inside slammed on the horn. He loved the yellow hard hat (of course) they gave out but the true highlight for him had to be the free lemonate from the large cooler with a pour spout. Maybe next year. I did manage to get a few shots of him in front of several.
