Pumpkin Carving!

After seeing a man carve a pumpkin during story hour at our local library, Hayden was very excited to carve our pumpkin at home. Despite having his fingers smothered in slimy finger paint for nearly 45 minutes a day prior, he wanted no part in cleaning out the pumpkin. Hayden was a very happy spectator though. Clearly, Ryan and I need a lot of practice in the carving department. I drew the lines in permanent black marker and he didn't follow them. The pumpkin ended up looking like he has braces! A little lame but still a fun process. We have dried the seeds and look forward to roasted pumpkin seeds and watching the Seahawks beat the Eagles!!!
