Today was the 3rd annual Big Wheel Race in our neighborhood. Let me say, it was quite an event. Racing flags replaced the American flag above garages early last week. Neighbors were secretly working on developing/modifying a big wheel to use in the contest. The police lined the streets with 'no parking' signs a day in advance. Homemade cookies and lemonade were for sale to quench the contestants and spectators alike. It was necessary to arrive early to earn a good viewing spot. Ryan competed in the Class 3,Heat 4 of the Modified Big Wheel division. He did not disappoint and came in 3rd! It was a great family-friendly event. This neighborhood has truly been impressively warm and welcoming!
UPDATE...The local newspaper was there and posted more pictures of the race on their site. Follow the link...you can see Ryan and Hayden in the background of picture #4. http://projects.daytondailynews.com/cache/galleries/Entertainment/Events/082110bigwheel/

Good Luck!
Having little time to create something special, I can assure you next year Ryan's bike will be more intricate and creative.
Some of the clever vehicles.
Logan watching. When did he get so big??!!
