The boys and I drove to Maryland the Saturday before Thanksgiving not wanting to brave the traffic with Ryan who couldn't leave until Wednesday afternoon due to classes. We figure being stuck in traffic is much less painful without two ticking 'time bombs' in the backseat!
The boys were excited to see MiMi and PopPop who did no disappoint with plenty of play time and attention! They had fun playing baseball in the backyard, basketball in the basement and playdough in the kitchen; as well as a large dinosaur puzzle and matchbox cars. Most of the toys at my parent's house were my sister's and mine growing up; it is neat to see my children now enjoying them!
We were all delighted when Ryan/daddy arrived to join us. Logan, literally, did not let him out of arms reach for the first full day. In fact, he spent most of the day sitting on his lap--it was adorable!
