Sandy Toes

We went to the beach last Friday. We still pinch ourselves as 8 minutes after leaving our driveway we can have our toes in the sand. F.U.N! We have decided that the beach bag must always be packed and ready to go on a whim.
Happy to report that Owen is quite a beach baby!

He LOVES to feel the sand on his feet, legs, arms, hands etc. Thankfully, after one taste, he's decided it is not best for eating. He is equally as excited about the water. As I carried him and approached the shore line, his legs and arms started moving as he squealed with excitement. I'd dip him down to let his toes splash in the water and bring him back up only to be viewing an overjoyed grin! We are grateful that Owen also likes to nap at the beach which allows the big brothers extended play.

Last week Logan got over his fear of the ocean and discovered that it is fun to run in the water. Naturally, still quite conservative in terms of only allowing the water to touch his shin, which is fine by us.

Hayden can hardly decide if he likes playing in the sand or splashing/jumping in the water more. He divides his time quite equally.

As we pull away, from the backseat we hear, in tuckered-out voices, 'I can't wait to go back to the beach!" Well, our bag is packed....
