School started two weeks ago here. Hayden is in second grade and Logan in kindergarten. We attended an orientation the week prior to meet their teachers and see the classrooms. Logan was excited and nervous. He still tells me the school day feels long (it is full day K) but he is doing super and his teacher even called to say so. In fact, she said he is 'one smart cookie.' After a brief moment of disappointment that a smart cookie is not actually one you eat, Logan's face lit up.
