My college (roommate of 4 years) girl friend came to visit Hayden and I for a week while Ryan was still in Texas. She also came last summer for a week when Ryan was out of town...such a thoughtful friend! Because she knows me so well she slips into our routine with such ease and before I know it, the dishes are washed, toys put away, diaper bag packed and Hayden giggling! Hayden calls her 'Aunt Em-a-leee' and simply adores her company. During naps and after bedtime Emily and I caught up on half a dozen chick flicks, baked cookies (eating the dough of course), painted nails and talked endlessly. It was a refreshing week for all of us.
