Ever since seeing a cartoon about a Lemonade Stand, Hayden has asked to do one. We figured garage sale day would be a perfect opportunity. He and his friend Mia made a poster the day prior and after their soccer game they set up shop. (Last minute, we had another little friend join in--Libby) For an hour and half, they continually stopped traffic with their cute smiles and exuberant advertising, "Lemonade!" Any time somebody would stop, the kids would jump up and down in excitement. They took the cup/ice out of the cooler, poured it and collected the money on their own!
