Home?

On our way to the NJ shore, we stopped in S. Jersey.  Except for a few people, we were able to reconnect with many friends.  As we drove through Philly, the familiar skyline struck a cord for both Ryan and I and as we navigated local roads, we had the distint feeling that we had never left; a sense of home.  After keeping in touch via emails and phone calls, conversation and friendships slipped back in place comfortably. We so appreciated the effort and planning of friends to visit with us and host our family.  Watching Hayden play with friends that he's known since he was a baby was fun. We passed by our church which is so dear to us.  With Ryan and I from seperate coasts and living a military lifestyle, sometimes it's hard to know where you belong.  It was heartwarming to feel the embrace of home.
