Boosterthon

Today was the Boosterthon Fun Run (fundraising) event at Hayden's school.   A team that travels the country to different schools brings a week of character building and fun!  The week culminates with a run for the kids.  Students ask for pledges, usually a dollar amount per lap, and the money raised will be put towards technology this year.  The laps are custom made and the goal is to complete 35 laps (I believe this equals a mile).  There is loud music, parents water misting hot runners and plenty of cold drinking water available.  It is a lot of fun to watch!  Hayden gave Logan his shirt from last year to wear which of course made Logan feel special.  Owen was a tad overwhelmed and a bit timid.  Naturally, Hayden completed 35 laps (and then some)!

Waiting for the first graders to arrive!

Lots of loud music...

"Only two laps left Mom!"

Complete!

Way to go Hayden!!!!
