Hayden's school has an open lunch policy; without advance notice you can eat lunch with your child any day. In fact, they keep a couple of spare tables set up in the back of the cafeteria just for those occasions. Recently, Hayden asked if I could meet him for lunch. When it was time for Owen and I to leave the house he motioned for his backpack after I told him where we were going. I also gave him his lunch bag to carry. He INSTISTED on carrying it the whole (LONG) walk from the parking lot to the cafeteria. Doesn't he look so big??!!
Hayden wasn't actually strangling Owen, despite the appearance. :)
