Happy 5th Birthday Logan!!!

Our 'cupid' turned 5 yesterday!!!  Logan is sweet, sensitive, shy, strong-willed, sincere, affectionate, bright and loyal!  Logan wears his heart on his sleeve.  He feels his way through life; every twist and turn; yet also every joy and triumph to the fullest!  While he still emulates Hayden in many ways he has started to come into his own more.  He is thriving at school and his teacher said he shows leadership roles amongst his peers. Logan is an excellent big brother to Owen often lending a helping hand or giving him first turn.

Above all Logan loves his family!  While it may seem difficult for others to get close to him as soon as you fall into his affections he is extremely loving and loyal. His sweet smile, punctuated with gentle dimples, melts my heart! 

Two things he said to me recently:
"Well, maybe when you really grow up you will want to be a doctor Mommy. But, I will still live with you."

With each of the boys' birthdays I have bittersweet emotions but Logan reassured me the other day...
"Even though I will be 5 you can still hug and kiss and hold me." 

Phew, because he lights up our lives and it is impossible to not smother this sweetheart with hugs and kisses.
