A friend of Ryan's at work, wife, was Dave Matthews' nanny for two years. They have remained in touch and naturally, she goes to his concerts for free, with all the perks etc. They were kind enough to invite Ryan and I to attend a concert this past weekend in Philly. We had backstage privileges to the lounge. Our 'pass' had Dave's initials on it meaning we were friends/family of his! We didn't get to meet him (however, after the concert our friends left in Dave's personal bus to 'party' with the band...very cool! We were still excited to see him in concert with front and center seats. He is an awesome performer and seeing them live really made me appreciate how talented each band member is on their respective instrument.
