Since Saturday was our only full day with Daddy we crammed in a lot of fun! Coloring eggs in the morning, beach/picnic, a stop at a favorite seasonal treat spot--Snow Balls (snowcones), a backyard Easter egg hunt and Easter dinner complete in the dining room with 'fancy glasses' for the big boys!
The waves came up high every once in a while leaving behind a small little pool. It was PERFECT for Owen! He spent nearly two hours running through, splashing and of course, throwing sand in the water to make a splash. The bigger boys braved the cold water on their boogie boards and built a really great castle together. Ryan and I found ourselves sitting down for about ten minutes just watching!!! We were talking about how much easier it is taking Owen to the beach this year than last year. Then we talked about how much easier it will be next year than this when hopefully little man is potty trained. It was loads of fun!
I had three dozen plastic eggs filled (with fruit snacks) and ready to donate to the church. However, with Logan sick all week we never left the house. So, we had a hunt in our backyard. The boys are happy because I don't usually buy fruit snacks and now we have bunches.
Eating some goodies!
