I have missed teaching for some time and have loved to use Hayden as a 'student' as he gets older and older. Hayden is the youngest in preschool class and in December he became impatient to turn 4 1/2 as most in his class were already 5. He was asking daily if/when he would be 4 1/2. So, I took out my calendar from my teaching days and put it on the wall in the basement. This way he could more easily visualize how long until the anticipated day. As I was going through my teaching boxes I also decided to start a word wall in the basement too. We are slowly adding sight words for Hayden to read/learn. It has been fun for both of us!
