As an infant, Hayden was observing the world with a keen eye. He was alert from day one. He fussed until he could crawl; always knowing there is more to life then just being stationary.
2 weeks
As a young toddler we used to joke that he had 2 speeds: running or sleeping. He was FAST! Why walk if you could run, right? He never met a stranger; greeting other shoppers in the grocery store with a smile and 'hi.' He was curious and wanted to explore the world around him; even if that meant straying from mommy or daddy at the store. Hayden was athletic. He could dribble a soccer ball with speed before his 2nd birthday!
2 year and 3 months
As a 3 year old, Hayden continued to plunge into life; jumping fearlessly off a diving board, asking and learning within 15 minutes, to ride his bike without training wheels, jumping off heights that made our hearts skip a beat.
3.5 years
As a 4 year old, self-control, patience, empathy and caution started to take seed. While he still enjoys life with a zest, there is a bit more maturity and thought to some decisions. Hayden is creative! He'll often go through my recycling bin and pull things out to create. Hayden is caring and rather sensitive. Hayden is funny! He will so often surprise us with a witty comment. He loves to laugh! We are so proud of the little boy he has grown to be and look forward to what year 5 will bring!
