Logan has always been our home body. He is happiest when he and his entire family are at home. Separation has never come easy. In fact, there was a period when we couldn't go to church. We tried for weeks but we would hear him screaming from the nursery into the sanctuary. The anticipation of being separated would actually hit as soon as we'd turn into the parking lot. It was traumatic for him...and us.
Needless to say, we are pleasantly surprised but his sudden intense desire to go to preschool. He talks about it daily and enviously wears his backpack as we drop Hayden off. (they don't have a 3 year old slot or we'd sign him up to finish this school year) My MOPS meets every other Thursday and childcare is provided. We call this Logan's school. I stood in shock as he marched right in, sat down at the table with the other children and turned to me with a big smile and wave goodbye. He boasted the same confidence during his Sunday school here in Florida. Wow! What a long way he's come. Next year, Logan will attend preschool 3 mornings a week. Now, we are confident that he is ready!
Logan showing off his 'schoolwork' from the MOPS childcare.
Trying to do more 'school things' at home with him. Here he is writing his letters in shaving cream.
Hayden's school had a family picnic lunch. Logan was thrilled he could carry a lunchbox. In fact, he started carrying it at 6:30 in the morning!
