Several people have asked for photos of our home in Florida. We are hoping our front door welcomes many visitors during our time living in the sunshine state.
We love having this huge Live Oak in the front of the house. It provides so much refreshing, dense shade. Although, we are going to try and trim some of the smaller, lower branches to improve the curb appeal.
We would love to have the creative control to remove the two overgrown bushes/trees on either side of the front door (we would transplant them to the backyard). We will be trimming them down.
As you enter the front door there is a living room on the left and dining on the left.
Love the size of the kitchen but not crazy having the stove top on the island.
The master bedroom is enormous! I would trade some of the square footage to increase the size of the spare bedrooms.
Owen's room
The 4th spare bedroom is the playroom. It is so bright and inviting. A special thank you to Stephanie who helped me sew the curtains. The blue part is actually a cloth shower curtain (with race cars on it) that I found on sale at TJ Max. Stephanie helped me sew the red panel on the bottom to make them long enough.
Hayden and Logan are sharing a room for the first time. So far, this has been a seamless transition. We let them each pick out wall decal stickers to place on their half of the room. Hayden picked Star Wars and Logan picked Spiderman. The room is tiny, but at this point, it works just great for them!
