Logan's preschool class had a Christmas show for the parents. For weeks leading up to the performance Logan would randomly sing the Christmas carols in the house. Although, he would never sing if he knew somebody was listening. He is bashful like that. He loves to dance but will always comment, "don't look at me." Prior to the show he assured me that he wouldn't stand on stage and sing but instead come and sit with me. I have never liked to be in front of a crowd and could relate to his uneasiness.
Happy to say, he exceeded my expectations and stood on the stage the entire show. Despite knowing all the words, he didn't sing a note, but he did smile a couple of times. Based on his personality, I would say his debut was quite a success.
