We've been aggressively tackling our summer bucket list with school just around the corner. I took the boys last week to our local butterfly garden. 'Butterfly' is a word Owen can say so it was very exciting to see him point and talk. Afterwards, we baked some butterfly cookies and colored some pictures.
The boys got to each mix two colors of frostings. They decided to be inspired by some butterfly books we have. Here are Logan's colors...

Though heavy on the frosting, they came out quite lovely.
Owen even got in on the fun after nap.
