We had a nice week with PopPop in town. His birthday is later this month so we took the opportunity to celebrate together. The boys helped him blow out his candles.
PopPop left for a walk before Owen was awake one morning. Owen decided to watch out the window for his return.
Newspaper Buddies
While celebrating Hayden's birthday all three boys had white icing mustaches from their cupcake. In jest, Ryan put some above his lip and turned to ask Hayden if he had anything on his face. PopPop joined in the fun too!
MiMi and PopPop gave Hayden a water balloon kit for his birthday. Such a super gift! I told the boys to give me their best 'fighting' stance. Poor Owen looks so innocent; 'what's this?'.
Owen loved running in circles through the sprinkler. Such a simple childhood joy.

We went out for dinner by the beach and then walked the pier.
