Christmas Eve

Our church had a fabulous children's service on Christmas eve.  Afterwards, we returned home and the boys each opened one gift.  Then, we enjoyed a crowd favorite, Shepherd's Pie for dinner and Ryan's famous frozen white salad for dessert.

 

It was very nice to have PopPop join us!

 

Watching a Christmas show

After dinner the boys dressed in their pjs, sprinkled reindeer food and carrots on the front lawn and settled in for our annual reading of 'Twas The Night Before Christmas.  Only, this year, Hayden read the story.  And yet again, we could hear distant sleigh bells ringing while Hayden read the last line of the story.  The boys jumped up and ran to bed!
