My good friend Brandi came for a quick, but lovely visit. We were great friends in Germany and lived only down the street from one another. She now lives in Louisiana and our paths don't cross nearly as often as we'd wish. It has been two years since we saw one another down in Texas. It is so refreshing to connect with an old friend...does the spirit good!
