"A boy must complete the Bobcat requirements, which include demonstrating his understanding of Scouting's core values. He must be able to recite the Cub Scout Promise, Law of the Pack, and motto and demonstrate the Cub Scout sign, handshake, and salute. He must also explain what each of these ideals means, in addition to demonstrating his understanding of the core values of honesty and trustworthiness, and explaining their importance."
Ryan was able to pin the badge on his shirt. It is pinned upside down and only turned after Hayden has completed a good deed.
Next, his Den was asked to vote on whether they want to participate in the event Rain Gutter Regatta which is held in the spring. To vote 'yes' they were to place a white colored rock in a bucket and to vote 'no' they were to place a black colored rock. The scout leader then rephrased it like this, "A white rock means fun and the black rock means you don't want to have fun!" Well, I guess it isn't hard to predict Hayden's vote!
