Measure of a Man

We were able to Skype Ryan for nearly an hour yesterday!  It had been a couple of weeks so it felt wonderful to 'spend time' together.  After lots of experience we have learned that it works best to give each boy their own time with Daddy.  However, Owen finds it very difficult to relinquish his turn with Daddy.  I truly believe he would spend hours on Skype if that were possible.

Ryan has been working 90 to 100 hour weeks with only one day off since he arrived in January.  Initially he was able to have one day a week with a late report but that hasn't happened in over a month.  To say he is exhausted would be an understatement.  It was midnight for him. Yet, he cheerfully listened and sang the ABCs with Owen countless times.  When we finally managed to end Owen's turn and hand the phone to Hayden or Logan you could still find Owen trying to squeeze his face into the frame while singing the ABCs like a broken record.
