The boys are all awake before 6:30 a.m. which is convenient on school mornings but not as welcomed on the weekends. After cuddling in our bed for a bit we went to the family room to turn on 'building' (HGTV), a Saturday morning tradition. However, it just so happened that the t.v. was on the science channel which quickly capitivated the boy's attention since the program was about dinosaurs.
The boys took out their dinosaur book to reference and then their toy dinosaurs. It was an unexpected educational morning which alwasy makes my teacher heart happy.
Here they were discussing the insects that lived amongst the dinosaurs.
Notice the dinosaurs (and giraffe) on the coffee table.
