Hayden's school hosted a Reading Under The Stars the other evening. Kids were to wear pjs, bring flashlights, blankets, animals and families were invited from 6 to 7 pm. We were greeted with hot chocolate and cookies and made our way to the hallway outside Hayden's classroom. The overhead lights were off but there was a soft, warm glow from twinkling Christmas lights swooping along the ceiling. Bean bag chairs and boxes of books lined the walls.
