It was a sweet moment on Saturday morning! Not even 24 hours into summer and Hayden took out his summer journal and starting writing/drawing. Behind him, you'll notice Logan, who was vacuuming--both unsolicited. Of course, being a former teacher, summer means Mommy school; workbooks, reading, journals, science experiments, baking, mini-field trips, crafts and extra chores (and naturally, lots of unscheduled play, swimming and friends).
I was going to give them the weekend off....
