Yesterday was the boys last soccer game of the season. While it will be somewhat nice to reclaim our Saturday mornings for pjs and pancakes (one of the boy's had a game at 8:30 each week) we are already looking forward to spring season. This fall was especially important because it was Logan's first turn to play on a soccer team after eagerly watching from the sidelines the past two years.
Hayden is truly a force to be reckoned with on the field. He is such a natural athlete and his coordination is impressive (I know I'm biased). His speed works to his advantage on the field. He is a great natural defender, rarely letting any player or ball passed him. When playing offense he dribbles well around the opponents and typically has a big kick on goal. When the coach puts him in goal he almost looks like a caged animal who cannot wait to touch the ball and run it down the field.
Just look at the pride on Logan's face as he received his first, very own, soccer medal.
A hug from an excited big brother.
